If hunting is your thing, cool, whatever. But that pig was huge, obviously old, and I'm sure the last thing it ever expected in its life is to be chased through the woods by an 11 year old redneck with a pistol. If the kid can't take the animal down relatively painlessly and quickly he shouldn't be out hunting in the first place. I'm not a bullshit animal rights activist or anything but there's no acceptable reason why the kid was hunting a pig that big with an inadequate weapon and letting it suffer for such a long time.

 

S&W 500 is a big fucking round and with a hog that size, it'd be hard to make a good shot on the vitals. I can definitely see it taking someone several shots to take it down and the kid obviously would have taken longer.

I think one of the older hunters possibly should have stepped in and taken a kill shot but they let the kid finish up.

You shouldn't judge because it's a completely different culture than yours and you have no clue how things go down there.

Only thing that would have taken that thing down would have been a head shot or a .50 bmg.

 

Shit it took the kid 3 hours to "finish up". If the kid fucks like he hunts then the ladies(cousins/sisters) will be pleased.

It looks like you guys think this kid went out to hunt a 1,000 pound hog and brought the handgun.

They were hunting normal sized hogs (150-400lbs) which would easily be taken with 1 shot with the gun he was using and stumbled across this beast. Did you expect them to run back to the camp/home and get another gun then run back out? :rofl:

in africa they dont take gun and shit... and hunting is part of survival so i guess it make more sense for them to prepare there kids that way.
Hunting with a gun, surrounded by other peeps with high power riffles in case something goes bad and running after the fucking pig taking 3 hours to kill it is not preparing a kid for the upcoming teenage year.
