Default line across an lcd
= bad lcd?

i just bought a used laptop for a coworker and pop it open and theres a line on the lcd

i know there used to be lines on flat CRT's to adjust for the natural curve of the more standard monitors.[/1998]

i've never heard of it on an LCD before.




is the line faint and grey? is it black?

likely a bad LCD... you may be able to find a replacement display on ebay :dunno:
