woong, do menus in GT4 stay in 480i even when the game is switched to 1080i?

my tv says game the game menus are 480p except once you get to the prerace menu (the one where u hit "start race") which is 1080i.

thanks, woong. one last question, do you have to set it to HD every time you start GT4 up, or does it retain the settings? thanks again.

i think if you hit triangle and square or some other combo at the same time in the menu... itll switch to HD.

not sure, i've never really looked into it since i didn't get a nice lcd til last year and i had already stopped playing gt4.
