I still heart the T43, its still a solid puter....my G40 on the other hand.....its like carrying around a friggin box of rocks with a 30 minute battery h:

my t42 is still running strong.

I swapped in the t43 2x dvd burner and stuck in another 512MB ram.

i killed the og battery... freaking went from 4 hrs to 10 minutes.

yay new 9cell.... 6hrs :drool:

My battery lasted 1 hour brand new, running the bare minimum. Now it runs about 42 minutes.

yeah I upgraded from the standard 4 cell to the 7 cell, the 9 cell isnt an option, but werd is I can get 8hrs out of this bastard...which would be ill

When you use your laptop at home, is it ok to to run it without the battery, as long as I connect it to a power strip? I've been using an ibook g4 1.2ghz I picked up cheap with a new battery. It lasts about 3.5-4 hours, but since I'm not really out-and-about with it, I thought to only throw it in when I leave with it.
