But you didnt see the threads man. I did not directly link BECAUSE i figured it'd be trouble. So I named the site, not linked, IN a SPOILER and it has NWS wrapped as well. I told people the name of the main page, which ALSO has a "Only click if you can follow our rules and are above the age" disclaimer.
The title of that thread listed the porn website by name.
My primary objection still stands. Since profanity isn't tolerated in thread titles, what made you think that a hardcore porn site address would be okay?

When you mention the name of the website in the thread title, the rest of your argument goes out the window.
... If the fact that there was a www and a .com in the thread title along side the words Bang and Boat was the problem... then that could have been edited out. Like you guys normally do. Not locked and erased without any explanation. It seems thats what happens to most of my threads that someone might disprove of in the slightest.
Secondly, I can't speak for John's decision to lock the thread.
But I agree with him that it was over the line, based on content alone.
We are not a hardcore porn fansite.

As I said at the outset, the prior rulings on NWS content should have been enough to tell you that you were getting close to the edge.

And please... the "prior rulings" on NWS is total BS. Its handled on case by case basis and it changes depending on the name of the poster and their join date. You can't argue that. The fact is that there is a bias and this could have been handled totally different.
What is the problem with linking a website that has suggestive material? How is that any different then putting spoilers around a picture of a womans breasts or having a spoiler to the link?
I'd HONESTLY like to know who was offended by the words Bang and Boat. By displaying the name of the site AND putting up the NWS, Spoiler and all the other shit I did... ANYONE who had any interest in looking at it knew EXACTLY what they were going to be getting into.
What is the problem with having the name out there? Again... it wasn't linked. Anyone who wanted to see had to go through steps at their own will.

aren't spoiler tags in place so that the person knows not to click on it if they're at work or if they dont want to see the material hidden in the tag?? I think posting "a girl I know did porn" is the same thing as "24 hour boob fest". We're not a boob fansite either but it flew. Nothing against either thread cause boobs are definitely ok with me but whats with the double standard

Please do. I only got pissed because it got deleted twice without any explanation of what was wrong and I don't see in ToS where is says anything about this.
I didn't see how bang boat could be a negative. This isn't exactly a family website and like I stated it has multiple steps to take if anyone wants to access it. I am interested on your take there Nelson.
