Luxor bombing suspect vehicle photos released

They're not the best quality, but take a good look at the car in the pictures on the left side of your screen. The person inside that car, police say, is responsible for leaving a bomb on someone's car, which detonated killing Willebaldo Durantes-Antonio.
Metro police released the pictures at a press conference Thursday. It is the first time they have discussed the Luxor bombing since the explosion on Monday.
The pictures are actually still shots from surveillance cameras at the Luxor and the Excalibur. Police think the three pictures are the best evidence they have to go on at this point to try and identify the person or persons who planted the bomb. And while the pictures don't actually show the crime being committed, they do establish a timeline.
Metro says Monday's bombing at the Luxor parking lot was not a random act. They say while they are still not completely sure Willebaldo Dorentes-Antonio was the intended victim, they have nothing to suggest that he wasn't.
And now, police say they might be one step closer to finding his killer. "This particular still photo shows that vehicle exiting the parking lot," Metro's Lew Roberts said. Metro examined the parking lot surveillance video from early Monday morning. They say they identified the car drive into the parking lot just after one in the morning. "The parking lot is not heavily populated," Roberts explains. "The car comes in and makes a few passes through the parking lot as if it's looking for something."
At 1:14 am, the car is caught on camera leaving the parking garage by the north ramp. Then at 2:38 am, it's caught on camera coming back into the garage, but this time police say it appears to have a purpose. "The second time it comes back it goes directly to our victim's vehicle," Roberts told News 3.
Metro says the car stays parked next to Willebaldo's car for a short time before backing up and leaving again. Although they cannot see anyone get out of the car, police say they believe this is when the bomb was planted.
Metro also confirmed that they believe Willebaldo was in the country illegally. They say while that has made it difficult to interview friends and family members, it hasn't had any other bearing on the case. "This investigation is not about their immigration status. This investigation is about a murder," said Roberts.
News 3 also asked Metro about reports that the bombing might be linked to a domestic situation involving Willebaldo juggling two girlfriends at the same time. They confirm that they have also heard that information and are in the process of checking it out.
Metro says they need your help in identifying what type of car was captured on those surveillance cameras. Police say if you have any information about that vehicle, please contact them.
