Default VERY bad news from the VET... :`(

well today i finally told my parents to take our 3.5 year old Pit Bull to the vet...over the past month she has been getting really "bloated".

her "ab" area was getting swollen like a water balloon... at first we all agreed shes just getting fat...it was a logical reason considering we caught her in the cat food and your other dog's bowl all the time, plus it was just winter and not being able to run around. seemed logical.

today i looked at her and felt her "ab" area and was thought to my self shes not getting fat, shes filling up with some type of fluid. i began to get a little worried and told my dad to take her right away...

they came home and sure enough she is filled with a fluid that is causing her rib cage to expand!

they dont know exactly what the fluid is but they said her life is most likely coming to and end.
Now i have never been emotional over a pet before but when my parents told me this i felt like i just fell out of a tree and hit the ground hard.

further testing is going to be done, and i will post here along with some pictures...

this just sucks!!!

thanks guys....not being able to do anything is the worst...

it makes it a little better knowing that it would not have mattered how early we caught it. If it is what they (VET) think it is she has no chance. im hoping she makes it through it...

i guess everything happens for a reason...
