don't recall off the top of my head, but while messing around with rockbox, i remember thinking, "do i really need to have access to this many settings?" the answer was no, and i reinstalled the apple firmware.

I like rockbox because it makes my ipod act like a hard drive and i can just dump music onto it without needing any extra software.

 

that's what i did like.. as well as the ability to play more formats. the UI was poor though, and i prefer the UI to be simple and intuitive, which apple is good at doing.

 

rockbox is themeable so you can make it how you want or you can download themes.

 

i didn't get that far into it. i'll have to take a look.
