ok, idiot question about hotwiring 1993 civic
You may as well just dent pull the ignition and replace it later.
reason I say this is because you have to get past the steering lock. You can try and manhandle the wheel to break it but honestly the easiest way is to pull the ignition then jam a matchbook in sideways to make sure the lock stays off. Nothing worse than going around a corner and the lock suddenly engages (been there).
You can also use Freon if you have it accesible. Spray it inside the ignition using a ball attachment for a pump then just take a screwdriver and twist. It should shatter the pins on the tumbler and deactivate the steering lock with no risk of it reactivating.
I have more ways to do it but these are the easiest.
