Default Headphones v.Traveling

I'm looking for some headphones for my trip in two weeks. I want them to be noise reducing for the plane ride(But I can handle them without) and not too expensive.
I found this set on Buy.com that was like #3 on the bestselling list.
Acoustic Research AR-H500 Noise Canceling Headphones with Travel Case. They also have airplane adapters which would be nice.

Anyone have any suggestions? I have my iPod headphones and a set of in the ear headphones that are noise reducing, but they're cheap and hurt my ear a lot!

Also, I've never had headphones like these, or at least since I've had my cartilage pierced. Will it put a lot of pressure on them?

Some Sony's. They don't fold up, aren't noise reducing, and don't have an airplane adapter.

Cheap as in cheap price, or as in crap? They seem to have good ratings.

I wish I could drop 300 bucks on headphones. Ha....

Here are some Jensen, a decent name brand. I don't know what to look for in headphones. I would probably go with this set since its a brand I know.
