Took Drake for a walk today through some woods... Found four ticks on me and my clothing... and pulled about 4 off of him and gave him a tick and flea bath. Now.. I noticed he had been bitten about 5 or 6 other places as he has 6 little red marks about the size of a dime on him. Now, they weren't deer tick, and he has his Lyme vaccination. Other then just keeping an eye on the bites.. should I be worried about anything?

 

i dont really know anything, but i hate pulling ticks out of my dog.. cat is even worse.

They weren't deeply embedded.. so it wasn't hard at all... but I've gotten some doozies in the past.... left the effers head in. Not pretty.

I'm good with the tick removal process.. I'm concerened about the bites.

 

I'd punch anyone coming near my dog with a hot needle.

Just checked again... there's actually seven bite marks all on his underbelly and back legs... but.. they're not as intensly red as before...
