Default Dilemma - Work ($$$) vs Relationship (anti $$$), help me guys

I'm at a crossroads again.

I believe I have an opportunity to get another job in the same field for a bigger company (NBC - Univiersal).

Pros - over current job
$4.00+ an hour than what I currently make
Union job
Pension
More perks
I'll be able to go back to school.

Cons - over current job
Strict guidelines
Higher Stress
4pm-1230am M-F shift
Less socially entertaining

I currently work 730am-4pm M-F.

I guess the only thing really holding me back is my damn relationship. I told the GF about the opportunity and she got all pissed and walked out, since the last jobs I had swing shifts we fought like no tomorrow. Things were a bit different on her end though, but what gives? Whats wrong with making more money so I can start saving up and whatnot.

i would have to really think about whether i wanted to stay with a girl if she got that pissed over a potentially good career move (not saying this is one, but her reaction is concerning)

I guess you have to ask yourself if money > happiness, or happiness > money.

12:30 is not that late, you should be home in time to bone.

I would think
Does g/f=Happiness then use the equation above.

I think she should be supportive of what you want to do in life. And hey $4/hr more equals another $160/wk.

anyway, fuck her. you're making more money so she's a dirty whore if she thinks that's a bad thing. 8k/yr increase in pay is nothing to bitch about, regardless of shift change.
