Default how much to replace windshield?

i've had a crack that runs the entire length of the windshield for a while now. looking to get the entire thing replaced. anyone replaced one and how much did it cost?

dont want to get pulled over anytime soon. with my luck the cop will give me a ticket for a few other things. :hsugh:

some repair shops either get replica glass or glass from a scrap yard, it all depends.
