Default DMV drive test

if u take the drive test, does the car need to be in tip-toe condition? my friend who is learning in my car now is prob gonna take the test in my car too... i have these probs:

1. 3rd brake light don't work
2. passanger side seatbelt doesn't recoil... gotta manually push it back in lol
3. one tire is just abt bald due to camber

also, her name doesn't need to be under my insurance policy to take the test rite?

Cars can be in tip-toe condition?

I would say as long as the seatbelt latches on and holds you to your seat it will work... Except for the bald tire. Thats just common sense..

Car needs to at least pass inspection. And she has to be on your insurance I believe.

she will buy a car after she pass... and besides, teaching her = excuse to see her :naughty:

i wouldn't say the tire is bald... just has major positive camber.. i will be replacing it soon, but i gotta save up first h:

(at least in cali), the 3rd brake light will probably be an issue. at the dmv here, they check to make sure you headlights/tailights/brakelights work. i don't think they check the tires, or care about the seatbelt.

and (again, at least for cali) she doesn't need to be on your insurance policy. how would a person without a drivers license get on an insurance policy anyway?

You have 2 working brake lights...that should be fine.

Just go to the DMV and ask :dunno:
