I been in one and now another one started in different company. I am somewhat scared because last time I was in one, I didn't expect it at all. It was huge too.

 

during HS and right up until i moved for my new job i worked as one of the head valet for a big resort back home. i did it just at nights as an offset to my regular job, mainly for the employee benefits like ski passes and golf passes.

they regularly laid people off in large groups, at random times when profits were low. i was never worried but then it was always my secondary job. where im at now, i have no worries of one ever happening...we keep growing so layoffs are far from my mind

 

I'm too valuable to let go h:












Basically, if my company let me go, they would need to hire 5 drafters to take my place. h: So I'm pretty safe for now...

My job is based purely on a persons donations. This lady is turning like 9400 years old and her family wants to pull all connections out of SD (they live in LA) so next week a group of people from my office have to go ask for another 3 years.

If she falls through...my job could fall through. :noes:

 

i'm semi worried, since i'm one of the youngest people doing what i do in this field of expertise.

i worked at a kenny rogers roasters and they closed to turn into a weinershnitzel, so i lost that job.

 

survived through 6 rounds of layoffs. i just didn't care anymore and wanted to be laid off, but i got impatient and quit.
I never worried since I have enough money to last me for about 2 years with no income.


my gf is still at the same company and since i left they've had 5 more rounds of layoffs. the last of which was this month.

im just sitting around waiting to see if im a lucky one or not..
but i should be good til the end of this year..
sucks but i dont mind waiting it out
