what's not to get? dude wakes up in a hospital to find the city looking deserted, finds some people, finds some zombies, leaves city, finds army guys, escapes army guys, sees jets at the end, seems like everything is safe and over

Get why it was a success. I thought it was a cheap low budget movie with terrible acting.

oh hehe, it was suppose to be kinda low budget. I liked it cuz it was a little bit different. Sure there have been zombie movies but these zombies can run which adds a whole new level of scary. They weren't the slow moving night of the living dead zombies i was used to. It also wasn't over the top with crazy monsters and gun fights and explosions like RE.
