Default LCD problems

So i left my laptop on overnight and this morning i start using it and i notice a magenta line on the screen. It's a about 1 pixel wide line of stuck pixels and it runs all the way from the top to the bottom. The laptop is a HP 6125x, if that makes a difference. I've looked around a little bit and tried some stuff, but nothing has worked yet. Anyone have any ideas?

warranty is done

try shutting it down?

I leave my laptop on over night all the time, never happened to me :hs:

if it is all the way up and down.. are you still under warranty? because that has to be more than 7 or 11 pixels h:

if rebooting doesnt help, connect it to an external monitor, if the line is still there, your vid card is toast, if its not, then theres something funky with the lcd
