So I punched in a trip from Portlan Oregon to Nogales Arizona.

The map comes up and it says 22 hours 33 minutes at a total distance of 1502.6 miles.

So I figure lets take the shortest distance possible so I select it and the results are 27 hours, 19 minutes at total distance of 1441.51 miles


How confusing

 

it takes the speed limit of the raods traveled into consideration....so even though it is shorter the speed limits mite be lower.

 

shortest distance, not shortest time.

 

you go through socal... leave at the right time and you won't hit traffic

I will leave just after the bomb takes out the entire state and even then I think I would hit traffic in LA

I am trying to avoid that place...at least on the way to AZ.

405, 110, 101, 5, 95....just avoid Cali altogether.

On the way back though I plan on going through it, most likely going to hit it at night though so it isn't as bad.

the 5 isnt soo bad...

 

If I hit the 101 it would take a week to get where I am going

5 is tolerable I guess, it's just when you have to make any turn off of the 5 that things get all screwed up in a hurry.
