Default Help me decide

I'm dying without XM. The 2003's aren't XM ready, but the 2004's are. I tried using the FM transmitter of my SkyFi2 and it's garbage. So my options are:

1) Buy a $60 converter that will connect my SkyFi2 into my AUX port. Put the SkyFi2 into my cubby hole. This is the easiest method.

2) Spend $300 on a 2004+ head unit and $100 on the factory XM kit. I can probably get like $250 for my current head unit, and XM will be controlled/displayed through the head unit.

As a side note, does anyone know what I actually need to hook XM into an "XM Ready" factory head unit? I've been searching for a week and I find like 10 different part numbers.

Tell me what to do h:

Yeah, they don't sell the factory XM kit anymore. I read somewhere that Honda discontinued it. All I can find are leftover kits on EBay for less than $100 that include everything but a mounting bracket and the antenna.

The only thing with that is that on the head unit it'll display "CD-C" whereas if I had a factory install it would display XM channel/artist/song. And I have to find a place for the bulky SkyFi2.

But I'm leaning towards that too Especially since I have no idea what's involved in the factory install and it's a pain in the ass finding an 04+ stereo because the 6MT has a unique stereo (180W v 120W).
