Default ipod/audio crew. question.

i have a customer that wants to be able to record things (talking) and get it onto an ipod

what would be the easiest way to go about this?

There's a way, though.

A crude way would be to record via windows, convert the wav to ??? and then upload to the ipod. I'm not sure what I could use to convert the wav and what format would be ideal to convert to.

I wasn't aware that iTunes could convert from .wav.

It can. Drag the wav to itunes. Right click on the file in itunes, and select "convert to AAC" or "convert to MP3" (which ever you have set under importing).
