Default I just deleted a file from a DVD

I burnt a dvd a few weeks ago. I just looked at it and some of the files in Nero were grayed out, but not the last file. I wanted to delete it since it was a duplicate with a file on a different dvd, so I hit delete and burnt the dvd. I just opened the dvd again and its not there.

I did not know you could remove a file that was burnt onto a non rewritable dvd.
