I am jacked right now.

Friend of mine was cleaning out his yard and came across a scrap metal pile where he found some interesting stuff. In this pile he found this:



So I told him that if he wanted to sell that leg brace I would give him something for it...he is giving it to me free of charge

 

hmm i dont get it. what are the two things under the saw? looks like stuff out of a horror movie h:

 

They look like props from a horror film.

Leg brace
Flat saw
Double ended axe heads (on left)
Sickles (on right)

Yeah I am pretty jazed, usually they are kind of expensive to buy second hand. the fact that it is all weathered and worn is a bonus too, kind of adds to the effect I want anyways.

Most likely use it in a photoshoot as a prop and then hang it on the wall maybe with a photo collage behind and around it.

Also going to study it's design a bit so I can start building a set of captive leg braces.

I saw the leg brace and thought of Forest Gump :chuckles:

I think those are shotels, rather than sickles :dunno:

 

No Shotels are more knife like and are weapons as opposed to a sickle that has a heavy curve for clearing weeds, like a smaller version of a scythe.
