Default EFFF UUUU Time Warner

So I keep getting my connection dropped by the cable modem every 30 min-2 hours. We checked our 198.168.1.100 IP for the cable modem and it logs the drops but everytime we call time warner they say they don't notice anything. As a customer they won't do anything to help us since they're the only cable provider in the area which is pissing the shit out of me. I mean I'm in the middle of surfing/downloading/gaming/etc and my connection drops out for no apparent reason. :madr:

Also doesn't help me when it's the cable modem dropping the connection and nothing else...

your downstream power is a little low, and the upstream power is a little high.

im assuming your cableline is split with splitters to your modem and TVs....

if you can.... try removing some so the modem has a direct (or less split) connection to the main cable line.... and see if you can keep a connection.
