yea great except for the whole aspect of being in prison, having the marks on your record, every aspect of your day to day life controlled, no true "freedom".

i love when people try to glorify prison life...when all the while they forget the key fact, your still in prison. lets not forget the parts where you have no personal posessions, you cant just go down to the bar for a night of fun with the guys, cant pick up chicks, cant go out to eat or take a nice drive, cant go to the beach...nothing...

some people are just plain stupid

Alot of people go to Jail because it's basically free living...you get 3 hot meals and a bed to lay on.
Hence the term 3 hots and a cot

i still think thats awefully stupid reason to commit the crime.

 

Just some food for thought... some people choose to have lives similar to what you describe. Monks and the like come to mind. They don't have the confined to a small space restriction, but some other points are very similar.

Interesting that some people choose to put some of those restrictions on themselves.

 

yes those choose to but they also choose to remove themselves for the most part from modern society. the criminals that are being sent to these prisons, most of the time dont want to lose touch with modern society. prison is designed to remove those from society who would otherwise choose to harm society or impact it negativly. totally different than monks
