sniper with the special bullet (when you reload) with headshots only. It's a bitch waiting for the bats or whatever to leave him but I was able to kill him before he got close to me

What's the "special bullet"?

 

when you reload, there is a bar that comes up under the HUD. Hit the reload button when the bar is on the solid white part.

Apparently the game tells you about it somewhere at the beginning, I found out when my cousin told me when I couldn't beat the boss lol

Use the torque bow to disperse all the Kryll off of him. When he's unshielded, switch to the sniper rifle and tag him in the melon. Do that about 20 something times, when he comes in close start lobbing grenades. Make sure you stay in the light or else the Kryll will fuck you up.

 

awww damn, so the bow does come in handy. Never thought of that, I forgot it explodes :/

 

Before you get out of the room to face RAAM, you can find one on the right side across from the compartments that hold the sniper rifle n' nades. If you prefer not to use the Torque Bow, just lay a whole magazine on him from your Lancer.
