Well obviously being able to maintain contact with the satellite and get me where I am going is the number one thing I want from a GPS. But POI is the second most important. I really don't care about MP3/multimedia features.

How is the screen on the Nuvi? Bright? Easy to read?

so mio 310x with iguidance installed >

but i have yet to try said nuvi

bright easy to read. screen on tomtom/garmin/nuvi is all about the same.

what about the magellan units??? i have heard they are GREAT....but pricey

Magellan had more problems than anything else we sold. I work at Best Buy and wouldn't exactly call myself retarded.
