someone came into interest recently...of course on a friend basis...but i cant help but think how nice it would be to have her as a gf. i doubt anything will ever happen.

You know, I never really thought of that. I think right now it's going to be a very long time before I settle down. As long as she isn't a prude and has a car, it's fine with me.
