Not a thing on that list that would be affected by a swap really. Either it works or it doesn't and most the things on that list in the engine bay will throw a code if not working properly which is instant fail anyways.

 

The fact that they have my car makes me nervous, whether or not that list has anything to do with the engine swap means nothing to me.

Let me put it another way. I want to wait till my vehicle is out of their hands completely.

Seems to me if you don't trust the shop then they shouldn't be doing the work on your car. In fact if I don't trust the shop they don't keep my car overnight let alone for the amount of time it takes for a swap.

Grab your engine and your car and bring them home and do the swap yourself with a few friends and some beer. The H swap is actually really easy to do, I was pissed the first time I did one and realized how easy they were. If I had known that I would have done the swap into my accord myself.

 

That wasnt so bad. The thing is they are already paid because I started the transaction while my buddy was the owner, and now he sold it to this other guy and he just is not cutting it for me.

Thats a bummer it happened that way. good luck with the swap and I am sure it will go fine. Not really much you can screw up with an H into a 5th gen at all.
