Well I woke up Wednesday morning at 2:30am with bad stomach cramps. Needless to say, I had stomach issues. Well anyways, after about 30 minutes on the toilet, I got up to go back to bed, but I got really dizzy. Next thing I know, my aunt is waking me up, I look around and I'm on the floor in the hall between the bathroom and my room. I had passed out and fell straight on my face. My aunt & mom took me to the ER. They took 5 tubes of blood and put an iv in my arm since I was evidentally dehydrated. While I was in the ER, I almost passed out again & my heart rate dropped to 34. My blood pressure dropped to 105/56. Well after my blood tests came back, they said I had a stomach virus. They put some medicine in my iv for my nausea that I was having, which didn't help. B/c on the way home, we had to pull over so I could throw up on the side of the Interstate. Which really sucks, b/c I haven't thrown up in like 12 years...literally.

Well here we are a few days later, my left side of my face is still numb in some places where I fell on it and I'm still having a few stomach issues. I've lost about 4 pounds in 3 days and even though I'm hungry, it's hard for me to eat.

I guess what I am asking for is for some prayers that I recover quickly. I need to get back to work & make some money.

Gracious! that is just horrible. i'll pray for u and i hope u have a speedy recovery!! viruses usually last about 3 days on avg. i passed out 1x when i was sick turned out i had scarlett fever. i hit my head on the coffee table. keep us posted.

Stomach virus huh? That sucks. Were they able to give you anything at the hospital other than a fat ER bill? I guess antibiotics won't do much but there must be something, at least to knock you out so you can get some sleep or something.

 

All they really gave me was some pills for nausea...which didn't help me b/c I had to pull over on the side of the interstate on the way home from the ER to throw up. They did X-ray my face to see if I broke anything...nothing's broke, but I did bruise my bones.

I haven't checked the mail lately to see if my bill is here, but I'm anticipating between $500-1000 bill.

 

Just about every time I puke I pop a few blood vessels around my eyes, it sucks. Looks like you did the same. Hope you get better meng
