Anyone here around Palm Coast? Ive been looking for many many hours the past week for affordable housing, I've found a few that I like but wtf is up with extremely high security deposits.. is that to keep poor kids like me out? Hmm...

 

should be cheap since florida leads the nation in foreclosures...i think.

Ill be down there from May 28th to June 11th visiting an ol girl, so thatll give me some time to find a few places as well.

 

the further south you go in FL, the higher the deposits......in MIA, its usually first, last and 1-2 mo security deposit.

Tampa isn't bad at all, Orlando too. Palm coast is kinda in the middle of nowhere.....Miami/Ft.Lauderdale is great but VERY expensive....everything costs more! Naples / ft. Meyers is kinda upscale, but you pay for it. Sarasota is cool too.

 

I lived in Naples for 2 years. Wasnt that bad. Depends where you go. Some places wants a first+last+security. You can find places with a standard security though and first months rent. Sometimes its just first month and last months and they use the last months rent as a security deposit. It was nice there but housing was way too expensive IMO

 

Gods waiting room sucks...I hope the entire state drowns.
