don't even get me started on the pr3 p72 debate......its not about the guts for the head swap to obd0, its the intake manifold and TB which won't fit on the gay p72's oddball intake manifold bolt pattern.

i'd imagine you could just convert to OBD-I from the getgo, wouldn't you just need a dizzy adapter and conversion harness?
