I was in Indio CA this weekend and had a date shake, and some dates. Those things are so tasty, its like eating a the filling of a fig newton.:yumyum:
I bought a few pounds to bring home to eat.h:

I'm not sure if I know the difference. the dates I got said on the container to store them in the fridge.:shrug:

What colour were they? brown looked like a oversized raisin?

yeah i am not a big fan of those... if you ever get a chance of finding Fresh not ripped date go for it. The look like a overside grapes attache the same way but in yellow nad hard. when you bite into them they taste good...

The texture is amazing... you seriously have to try it, it's like filling you mouth with sand, completly absorbs the moisture, doesn't sound good but it is! man i love those very fibery too h:
