I did notice that it is the slim case. I would rather prefer a regular width case.

If there is only 1 PCI slot then obviously I couldn't have much expansion.

I would need the ability to support 3 external HDD's, Wireless, and my 128 ATI card.

 

im not really passing... but if you want to add a video card for gaming, you'll have to buy a new low-profile card.

is your video card AGP? how many PCI slots do you really need?

get a usb hub or whatever and you're set for the HDDs.

 

the monitor alone is worth 200 if that helps in your decision

if he already has a monitor he should buy the one with it and then sell it. he'd come out ahead.

 

Are there better deals out there? The extra Monitor I would almost have no place for it, so I could resell it, or sell my 17" that I have at home.
