chick and i were talking, hanging out when i was up north on weekends. i spent all my weekends, every night, at her place...ditched work on monday mornings so i could chill in her bed that much longer

I wasn't joking in my previous post either, often guys aren't proactive enough to take control of the conversation. I think you waited out too long and still kept on trying after you got shot down.
