they did a really good job of adding cinematic elements into the game 
and i stopped playing at night as well.. specially with headphones on...

Anybody ever play System Shock 2? It was kind of the spiritual predecessor to FEAR, from like '97 -- at least as far as being a scary supernatural-type shooter.
The worst part was that zombies would come running at you screaming "I'm SORRY!" because some part of them knew what they were doing. :noes:
