What's your suspension setup? Seriously, I think the best thing I did for my Subie was get good tires and a front and rear sway. Just hit 70K on my 03 WRX and no major problems at all, even on the supposed glass tranny.

yeah, but the downpipe still looks very circular, right up to the flange. no bulge or anything to show that the wastegate port has an easy exit.

Perrin 24mm year sway bar, Whiteline HD links, Whiteline HD brackets, H6 rear brake conversion, WRX brembo fronts with EBC redstuff pads all around, goodrich SS lines, KYB AGX 4 front 8 year, tanabe sustec springs, Perrin front swaybar, front whiteline HD links, yokohama AVS ES100 tires.

the inide of the flange on the right is milled out and the DP at the top forms a sort of oval like a mini bellmouth.
