good to know...I will look into it...

I don't like the lack of information on these cards on ATi's website tho.

I am looking at the All-in-Wonder® 2006 and the All-in-Wonder® X1900 right now

Ultimately I will probably decide what operating system she will use. I don't think I will choose MCE but I guess it's something to think about. I will probably be leaning towards XP Pro or Vista....it really just depends on how the Vista reviews are by summer time.

I'd stick with XP cus that's what i use. The card i have came with some software. The only thing i dont like, i dont know if it's something with my provider or with my card, but i cant seem to get the TV guide functionality to work correctly

I currently use a ATi All-in-wonder X1900 with Windows XP MCE. It works pretty good, can record shows, pause live tv, etc. The things I don't like about it is that the tuner only does analog cable, not digital. So I still need to have the cable box, and the pos box comcast has doesn't even have s-video output. I also don't like having the video capture tied to the video card, if I decide I want to upgrade one of them, I have to upgrade both.

Ultimately I would love to have a PCI card that can tune HD Digital cable without the need for a seperate box, but nothing currently available can do it.
