Default Runners...you get blisters like this?

Well I've been running since January...a combo of that and playing Basketball everyday. I'm trying to lose a few pounds and get in shape by June for when I leave for Basic.

But the other day, the blister I've been developing flared up real bad, started burning and turned red. Anybody ever get these? I got some medicated foot pads I'm gonna start wearing today.

Sorry for the crappy pic...I was tired and it's my cell phone.

you're shoes are ruining your feet. wear moisture wicking socks and get shoes that fit.

I had blisters when I was marathon training. Got new kicks and socks and now I'm blister free.

Mind you, I went through 4 pairs of running shoes and put at least 350+ miles on each pair.

Some hikers/trail runners I know put underarm deodorant on their feet to help with the moisture. I've never tried it but my friends swear by it.

Put that nasty shit away. h:

j/k.....I used to get them on my feet when I played baseball (cleats), and on my hands sometimes from swinging the bat so much. Just pop it, drain it, and put ointment on it (neosporin) and take it easy for a lil while so it can heal.

Try some sheer nylon footies under your socks. They're cheap and sexy too.

yeah, definitely look at getting new shoes. depending on how much you run, you could need to replace your shoes every few months. if they're a year or two old, definitely get new ones.
