isnt it 90 minutes but they can add time due to any delayed stoppages but the clock keeps running so it could end at 90+ :hsdunno:

technically yes...

at the 90 minute mark they "stop" the clock for the appropriate amount of time...

so they dont really add time on to the clock they simply stop it

ok look

standard "soccer" game is 90 minutes of regulation play

clock starts at zero...

game is split into two 45 minute periods for scoring purposes

certain game infractions warrent a stoppage of time at the end of the game...

so a game could essentially run 90+ in regulation play

in the events where a 0-0 score is achieved at the end of the game and a clear winner is needed there are 2 overtimes....

after 2 overtimes if still a tie then they go to a shootout, 5 players from each side one on one at a time with opposing goalie...

best outta 5 wins

futball noobs

90 mins is regulation time... everything tht happens during the game (fouls, injuries, etc) will be added on at the end of the 90 mins as stoppage time

45 min for first period +stopage time
+
45 min for second period + stopage time

The stopage time will be shown during the last minute of each period.
