Did anyone else get the sense that the spartans' muscles were digitally augmented? Like when you see em all walking in a line and each one goes by, and every single one has pretty similar perfectly formed abs. It kinda felt to me like they had the actors walk around in green bodysuits that went up to their necks, do motion capture, then throw some videogame body over the suit.

Well I know Gerard Butler's weren't, he was on Craig Ferguson the other night talking about how hard and long it took for him to get in shape to look like that.... 3 hours a day 7 days a week for 6 months, or something like that. As for the rest, I'm sure they did some sort of editing.

Anyway, this movie fucking OWNED. IT WAS THE MOST BALLER SHIT EVER!

I saw it yesterday afternoon before the theater got too busy. The movie was awesome.

The only thing that pissed me off was that they had the volume set too low at the theater. There's a lot of quiet talking in the movie and it was hard to hear some of it.

I watched the making of it on HBO and they casted all muscular guys then put them on strict diets and exercise routines to make them tone up like they did.
