we'll see, still gotta get hired at geico. This has helped me make the decision though, so thank you for the help that you all have offered

 

how the hell isnt that bad??? even if that was under the table cash... i made that much working part-time during college :eh:

 

its never wrong to look for ways to better yourself. doesnt matter how it benefits you, more money, better hours, closer to home etc... dont feel guilty about it cuz when it all boils down, business is business and if they can find somebody to do your job for less than you do, chances are they will. likewise, if you can do your job for more elsewhere, or make more doing something else you should take advantage.

 

$2k/month web designer assistant and field photographer... that was only for like 3-4months though.

the other was in sales/tech support for an apple reseller.

it was the only things that allowed me to work weeknights and weekends.

Do it, I'm thinking about leaving the company I am with right now (been here 4 years) for a job not to much further away, and I make 10k more a year. Plus its a better working enviroment....but my company also just merged with a larger company, so i'm also thinking about sticking around for a while to see what changes.

You just have to think long term....
