I'm looking to get one also but just for household/family protection only.

:chuckles: yeah it is just here.... they dont make it easy for people to own guns legally in this state. i'd like to get a pistol but 1. its not that easy to get a pistol permit (just to own) 2. at this point, i dont have the money to apply for the permit OR get the pistol 3. i have no real need for a pistol, i only want one for sporting purposes

somebody comes forcefully into my house, i have a selection of long arms to choose from....
