how much would a fuel filter replacement and power steering pump(or just the seal perhaps) cost me for labor?

Replacing the fuel filter is easier than replacing your oil filer. < 10 min job

Handjob right? That is what you were going to say wasn't it. :squint:

Autozone has half-shafts for about $70 + fuel filter $10(?). Basically el cheapo. I have the valve tool sitting right here(assuming the nuts are 10mm). All we need now is the service manual and we know where to get that I will say the price you were quoted wasn't bad at all. My buddy Rob is coming over. We were going to go shooting but the weather will suck. Then we were going to work on my car but it will quickly degrade into smoking stogies and playing video games. So yeah if you want to just let me know. I'll pm you my address and phone#.

god, breaking free the axle nut on the civic after 10 years of age was the biggest PITA ever! Torches, 2 breaker (snapped the first one) bars and a 5ft pipe ftw! (Impact just wouldn't do it)

Yep It will be a bit tight because I have the civic in pieces right now so we won't be able to use the whole garage. But working around it shouldn't be much trouble. I did a wheel bearing on my bravada last night and it wasn't too bad.
