My contract expired yesterday so I went and got a new treo 700wx today and now I want to buy this sd card but I don't know if is compatible.

8GB SDHC HIGH CAPACITY CLASS 2 SD CARD?

Not sure if the phone would have some kind of limitation on how big of a memory card that could be used, but I don't see why it would not work.

That is exactly what I need to know. it most be a software thing that limit the amount of gb it can handle.
some cell phone won't allow after 2gb because that was the highest at the time.

My K750 had the same thing. It was stated that it could handle up to 2gb of external memory (because that was the largest available at the time) but when the 4gb cards came out, I've used it and had no problems.

I believe it only supports up to 4gb.

it will work with the 2 and 4 GB SD memory cards, though not the newer SDHC cards
