my mom is a lawyer and she does family law and its truly horrible what people will do to each other. men seem to be worse then women. that is just dirty to do your sister like that. what that must be doing to her self worth among other things. she isnt the reason for the divorce yet the innocent get the brunt of the nasty stuff.

money seems to be where the exs get back at each other the most. some states permit the divorced spouse to continue health insurance on the family. if your state allows it have her lawyer make him continue paying. what is the point of putting a hardship on your family? u would think if u r getting divorced that u would want it to be in the best interests of everyone and go your separate ways. your sister may not be able to get insurance if she is dropped due to preexisting conditions.
