I know sigs you can through your User CP. Smilies, you're probably SOL.

if you use firefox + adblock,

add the following to your filter list:
- honda-acura.net/forums/image.php
- honda-acura.net/forums/images/smilies

i also killed the logo:
- honda-acura.net/forums/images/misc/logo_default_two.jpg


i left smilies on because you'll misread posts without them.. h:

 

Without Adblock, you have no control over smilies.
But images, avatars and sigs can all be hidden.

User CP ---> Edit Options
Scroll down to "Thread Display Options".
