socal stands for liberty, freedom, and all things that are american. southern california is a geographic region that happens socal happens to be part of. i like to think of it as the capital of southern california.

for some strange reason, you do make some sense

although I still think san diego is somewhat part of socal though,
the barstow people definitely are not
