Default Blood Oranges

Just picked one up today for lunch

It's red on the inside and very tangy

I suggest you give it a try

Does a blood orange taste like a regular orange? I've seen them at the markets but they've either been too pricy or they didn't look like they were in good shape so I've never bought any myself.

I've seen a lot of gourmet recipes that call for them. What's the difference when cooking with em? Is it the color you're going for or the differing taste?

I bought Organic Blood Orange Juice at a fruit stand a few weeks ago. It was really good but cost like $4 for half a quart

It tastes like orange

The skin makes it look different, I thought I grabbed an underipe one but it turned out to be perfect

But it was $1 and was about the size of a tennis ball
