I don't see a problem with calling it an "eight-six." Same as people who say they have an EJ8 or AP1. Hachi-roku is a bit much though, I agree.

why not call it an AE-86 if everyone refers to the 92-95 hatch as a EG6

ae86 is the chassis code in america
just like my car is a dc5
so i see no problems calling it what it is here
its guys calling their 96-00 civic hatchbacks ek9's that are dumb

hell im gonna start calling it ochenta y seis
