Default computer speakers

I've got some Altec Lansing ACS48's now... they are pretty much awesome as far as computer speakers go.

I'm looking around to see some other options.... and don't see much that would be better than these. I'm thinking that if I'm really going to upgrade, I'm going with a separate stereo receiver and some shielded 2-way speakers and possibly a separate powered sub too. But that's out of the "computer speakers" realm.

Back in the "computer speakers" realm, what do you use or suggestions for something similar?
I don't need more than 2.1.

Maybe Airport Express? I'm going to pick up one when I get my new Mac. Computer sounds through the home receiver. I hope it's as good as the hype.

I wonder how they do that. I thought THX was 6.1.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 looks nice... but for $200 I could already have a stereo receiver and some lowend 2ways.

hmm
